My aunt was a very devoted and active nun and suddenly, one day, she suffered a stroke and half of her body was paralyzed. She then started to have a very passive and sad life. I was blessed some years ago to lead a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I was also blessed to sit with my group in an upstairs choir loft at the rear of the church overlooking the body of the floor and full view of the alter.
